Istituto Monteverdi is proud to welcome a large number of international students each year. We maintain partnerships with various conservatoires all over Europe thanks to the Erasmus+ scheme, which you can find out more about by browsing the “Erasmus” dropdown menu in the International tab. If you are interested in studying here for a full degree, take a look at the Course Catalogue  where you will find a full list of possible courses. Our students receive a first-rate musical education in small class sizes which promote a friendly, tight-knit atmosphere at the conservatoire. Here in the city of Stradivarius and Monteverdi, music is at the heart of the community, and students have access to world-class expert teachers, as well as diverse opportunities to attend concerts and performances, whether here, in nearby Milan or elsewhere in northern Italy. Recently, our students have performed in cities including Trentino and Lugano, Switzerland; while we have exchanged masterclasses and concerts with conservatoires ranging from Lille to Tallinn, Estonia and Goryeong, South Korea. We also hold regular concerts here in Cremona, a town whose rich musical heritage continues to draw attention from musicians worldwide. International students are a very important part of our community, making up as much as a quarter of the student population. Whether you are interested in an Erasmus placement of a few months to a year, or in studying here for a full degree, we hope you will find Istituto Monteverdi a welcoming place to further your musical education, under the tuition of internationally respected experts.
