Obiettivi:
Il corso si prefigge di affrontare l’enorme repertorio organistico dalla musica rinascimentale alla musica del novecento e di analizzarne le problematiche interpretative attraverso lo studio e consultazione dei trattati in maniera molto approfondita ricorrendo anche a dei paralleli tra le varie scuole europee. Si dà ampio spazio all’approfondimento di importanti partiture antiche e sinfoniche di difficile esecuzione, virtuosistiche. Una particolare attenzione viene anche dedicata alla letteratura per organo e strumenti o organo e orchestra.

Contenuti:

  • Studio e approfondimento di alcune importanti partiture organistiche di J. S. Bach, in particolar modo, trio sonate o corali o corali in trio di difficile esecuzione tratti dalla Terza parte della Klavierubueng, e dai 18 corali di Lipsia. Inoltre una scelta tra Preludi, Fantasie e Toccate e Fuga BWV 532, 543, 544, 548, 540, 542, 564, 566, 582.
  • Studio di alcune rilevanti composizioni di Frescobaldi dal I e II libro di Toccate o di alcuni suoi allievi come Rossi o Froberger.
  • Studio e approfondimento del repertorio romantico per organo di media e alta difficoltà: Sonate di Reubke, Sonate di Ritter, Preludi e Fuga di Brahms, Franck, Bossi e Reger.
  • Studio di alcune partiture sinfoniche di difficoltà del tardo Romanticismo e Novecento con Autori come Duprè, Peeters, Duruflè e Messiaen.
  • Altri brani liberi da concordare con gli studenti.

Parte esecutiva

    Per ogni annualità si richiede un’esecuzione di durata non inferiore a 50 minuti con musiche scelte dal programma di studio del corso, concordate con il docente, dove siano previsti possibilmente autori di tutte le scuole dal Barocco al Moderno.

MASTER DEGREE

Course objectives:

The aim of the course is to address the organ repertoire from Renaissance to XX century music and analyze the performance problems through the study of the essays written on the subject, also with comparisons between different European schools. Ancient and symphonic virtuoso scores will be examined in depth. Literature for organ and instruments or organ and orchestra will receive particular attention.

Course Contents:

  • Study and in-depth analysis of important organ scores from J. S. Bach, particularly difficult trio sonatas, chorus or chorus in trio, taken from the Third part of Klavierubueng, and from 18 choral of Lipsia. In addition a selection from Preludes, Fantasias, Toccata e Fugue BWV 532, 543, 544, 548, 540, 542, 564, 566, 582.
  • Study of some relevant compositions from Frescobaldi I and II book of Toccata or from some of his students like Rossi or Froberger.
  • Sudy and in-depth analysis of the romantic repertoire for organ of medium and high difficulty: Reubke’s Sonatas, Ritter’s Sonatas, Preludes and Fugues from Brahms, Franck, Bossi and Reger.
  • Study of some symphonic scores from late Romanticism and XX Century. Authors like Duprè, Peeters, Duruflè and Messiaen.
  • Other pieces freely chosen by students.

Executive Part

For each part the student will be asked to perform, for a minimum 50 minutes, pieces from the study program, selected with the teacher, in order to cover the authors of the schools from Baroque to Modern period.
